Nursery Photography in Rochdale

At a recent nursery photography shoot in Rochdale, there was a baby girl who would not settle for a photo. We tried several times but she was just too upset. As the morning went on she eventually fell asleep and, when she was ready for waking, the nursery assistant brought her to the bean bag. As she awoke, we managed to get some of my favourite shots I've ever taken at a nursery, and the mum was happy to let me share them with you.

Bamboo cotton boxer shorts.

A recent shoot involved a muscular young man as a model for some nice new bamboo-cotton boxer shorts.
The company, A Milne, is importing the shorts for sale in this country and their website, amilne.co.uk, should be up and running soon, keep an eye on it.

Pet Photography - Cat & Dog photos

It's not just children that people want photos of, animals are a very big part of some people's lives. The chance to have a professional portrait of a much-loved pet is something that a lot of people really appreciate.

I have sold vouchers for portrait sittings, including for a lovely lady's pair of dogs (no children involved!).

There are some (but not too many!) differences to working with people, but the rewards are the same, when you capture something special about the pet for their owner to treasure for a long time to come.

Filming of "The Invitation"

What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon...
On set with the cast and crew of a new short film being produced by Finite Productions and Acting On Impulse. The film is due to premiere on Monday night, 27th June 2011 at the Comedy Club, Manchester, for details click here. I spent an afternoon taking pictures of the filming in process, with side shots of the actors resting, chatting, rehearsing, etc.
